i’m going off to Malacca in 2 days, so exciting…quite worried though…dont know much people in the camp.. and some of them are so fierce… yes, fierce! alrights, so i’m going with the kind of expectations i have when i go on a mission trip!

i’m hearing precious Eliot’s mulitmedia now, he has a lovely soothing voice.. other primates do share with us the patterns of atachment infants show… blah blah blah, sounds familiar? if that is true it means that you might want to hesitate to experiment in what is ways that sounds possible about the issue of child care, you dont want to think that there is only one way to bring up children…not worked are the ways that people try to collectivise child care, Kibuts, communal child care, raising children together the whole day, its like nursery school, only at night do children return to their own families, the trouble was that the children and the parents did not like this arrangment very much because parents and children wanted more time together, not nice for marriage, they didnt want to get married to one another, incest taboo kicks in, no romantic feelings towards their siblings, people who grew up with them. taboo tends to be triggered by familiarity. was not very successful, did not sufficiently catered for the parents and children. doesnt mean that indiidulitic culture’s upbringing is the correct way though. older children can pretend to feel feelings when they do not really feel it, they can laugh hahaha when they do not really mean it… mumble mumbl mumbl… therr is a really  big shift to understand emotionality thats why in mnay culuters before age 6, children not…over age 6 children are expected to know how to control their emotions… they have to learn lots of stuff before they go to school…

OK, that was $15 dollars of lecture you cant get else whe… so EXPENSIVE.. and you’ve havent even hear his voice!

slumdog Millionnaire

it was nice, quite funny and the main character, the younger version was so cute!first time we watched such a late show! not bads not bads, you should go and watch it too!

Hua yi festival of the arts-the village

an exellent comedy about 3 different families, 3 different generations who moved to taiwan to eacape the war in china. there was zhou pei pei the character i liked the most, zhou haibin, who was actually xiao yang who ‘took’ over him as he got killed in the war and the fattest of them all Zhu papa. Zhu mama was the funniest.. she liked cooking to and apparently made yummy Tainjin bao zi after lao zhou’s mom died. there were morals in the story and it was truly enjoyable just sitting there at the esplanade peering down to watch the play… one regret though was that the seats were too far up and we couldnt see the faces of the actors, we had to listen to their names being mentioned in each scene and also the attire for that scence in order to identify who’s who. A definate must watch!
